We’re a small company, and the people and communities we work with are a hugely important part of what we do. Whether you have a few hours to spare, a skill you’d like to offer, a possible new performance venue, or you’re a professional theatre practitioner interested in working with us, we’d love to hear from you.

Much of our touring takes place in villages, gardens and unusual outdoor spaces, and we’re always interested in discovering new places to visit.

Volunteer With Us
As a small registered charity, there are always areas where an extra pair of hands — or some specialist knowledge — can make a real difference.
We'd love to hear from people interested in volunteering their time or skills. This might include office and administrative support, fundraising and funding applications, practical production work, costume making and repairs, or helping us with other aspects of running the company.
Volunteer At A Show
Would you like to help us when the Rudes come to your area?
We sometimes need volunteers to help our team front of house at performances, including welcoming audiences, checking tickets and helping everything run smoothly before the show begins.
You don't need theatre experience — just to be friendly, reliable and happy to lend a hand.
Work With Us
We work with professional theatre makers and creatives to bring each new Rudes production to life.
We're always interested in hearing from professional makers, designers, technicians and other theatre practitioners who might be a good fit for the company — including set, costume, prop and puppet makers, designers, lighting practitioners and production specialists.

Casting
Our productions are performed by professional actor-musicians, and we hold auditions when we are casting a new show.
