Holly trained as an actor musician at Rose Bruford College and later went on to study physical theatre at Jacques Lecoq in Paris for 2 years. She makes her own work and toured her debut show, The Campers with her company Fever Birds in 2022. This is Holly's second season for The Rudes - in 2023 she joined the team for Miss Popplewell's Garden. Acting credits include: Love Bites (BOB Theatre) Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Dr. Livingstone, I presume, Frankenstein! (Miracle Theatre Princess Pavilion, Falmouth & South West tours) The Campers (Fever Birds) Movement director for The Secrets of the Stour (Wimborne Community Theatre) Une Journée Sur La Côte D’Azure, Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde (Dreampark Theatre (UK and European tour) Merlin’s Apprentice (Kickline Theatre Taunton Brewhouse) The Strong Man (Bashstreet Theatre Uk & European tour) Grime (Ramshacklicious UK tour) Having watched Rude’s shows before and loved their work, Holly is delighted to have joined the company for this summer tour.

Evie is delighted to be back again performing with The Rudes! She graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Her theatre credits include Tina in Gods and Dogs and Mrs Hawrtrey-Churlish in Miss Popplewell's Garden (The Rude Mechanical Theatre Company), Ally in Reclaiming Harry (Edinburgh/Prague/Colchester Fringe 2022), Fairy Fee/Fancy Nancy/Contessa of Petiti in Dick Whittington (The Theatre, Chipping Norton), Young Woman in Contagion Cabaret (The Theatre Chipping Norton), Peppa Pig in Peppa Pig’s Big Splash/Peppa Pig’s Surprise (UK & Ireland/Australian Tours), Ellie in Santa’s Dizzy Day (Harlow Playhouse)and Sam in Teletubbies Live (Winter Wonderland).

 

Commercial credits include Freya in Favro, Woman Working From Home for Deep Heat and Wife for Armstead Paints.

She has also worked extensively in Immersive Theatre (The Crystal Maze Live, Polar Express) and enjoys writing stupid comedy songs on her ukulele.

Tamsin is an actor, musician and puppeteer who trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is over the moon to be making her Rudes debut this summer! 

 

Recent credits include Three Little Pigs (Lost the Plot Theatricals); There's A Tiger In The Garden (Flock Theatre Makers); A Tale Of Fellowship (The Actor's Church); #FIT (Big Licks Theatre Company/The Cockpit); The Merry Wives (Film on Film Entertainment); Legends Of Arahma (The Actors Church); Red Riding Hood (Colour House Theatre), Pinocchio Gets Wood(Guildford Fringe Company), Much Ado About Nothing (The Cockpit), Othello (Brunel Museum/The Cockpit), Jack and the Beanstalk (Campus West), The Soldier’s Tale (Clapham Omnibus Theatre).

 

Tamsin can also be seen all around East Sussex on the back of the buses, recruiting keen new bus drivers to join Metrobus! Sadly, she wasn't allowed to keep the bus for the tour- would've made for a far easier get out...

Rowan has been involved, as either an actor or composer in all but three of The Rudes productions since 1999 and has been working professionally for 30 years. His other selected theatre includes: Green Man Red Woman (National Theatre Wales), The Children’s Court (National Theatre Wales & Unicorn). Robin Hood, Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty (Theatre Clwyd). Noises Off, The Hot Mikado, Twelfth Night, Relatively Speaking and Dick Barton Special Agent (Queens Theatre). My Beautiful Launderette (RSC, Bloomsbury, SNAP). Jack and The Beanstalk (Ipswich), The Gruffalo’s Child (Tall Stories), Scooby Doo (Warner Bros), Stand By Me (Riverside), The Cow Play (Square Moon). Mistress Maud’s Chambers of Fantastical Truth (for the artist Caroline Sabin). Rapunzel, Beauty and The Beast, Ali Baba, Jack & The Giant and Puss In Boots (Chipping Norton). You’ve Got Dragons (Taking Flight) and, most recently, Finding Home (Mercury Theatre Wales) and the solo show In Pursuit Of Maud (Caroline Sabin). Rowan is also a composer and MD and has written scores for over 50 theatre productions and films. Ed is an actor and musician who was born and raised in Nottinghamshire and trained at Rose Bruford College. He is delighted to return to The Rudes after appearing in Little Lily Harley & Gods and Dogs. His Theatre credits include: The Commitments (National Tour), Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles, Robin Hood: The Arrow of

Destiny, Swallows and Amazons (York Theatre Royal); Peter Pan, Far From the Madding

Crowd, Alice in Wonderland (The Watermill
Theatre); Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Dick Whittington, Cinderella, Four Dames in Search of a Panto,
Aladdin; (Theatre Royal Winchester) Hood: The legend Continues, The Tiger’s Bones and other stories, The Giant Jam Sandwich (New Perspectives); Tom’s Midnight Garden, George’s Marvellous Medicine (Birmingham Stage Company). He has never been on the telly, except for a Swiss crisps advert. He is excited to rejoin the Rude Mechanical family and is looking forward to another glorious English summer on tour.
