Cancelling a Performance Before It Starts

We only cancel a performance when we are reasonably certain that it will not be possible or safe for the performance to go ahead. This may be because of adverse weather, such as heavy rain, strong winds or extreme heat, or because of other circumstances beyond our control.

Normally, a decision to cancel will be made on the day of the performance and usually by 4pm. However, changing circumstances may mean that a decision has to be made later, and in exceptional circumstances a performance may be cancelled at any time up to its scheduled start time.

Ticket holders will be contacted by email as soon as possible. We will also do our best to publicise the cancellation on our website and social media channels as soon as we can.

If we cancel a performance before it has started, ticket holders will be entitled to transfer their tickets to another available performance or receive a refund.

Cancelling Once the Show Has Started

Occasionally, circumstances may mean that we have to stop and cancel a performance after it has already begun. This might be because weather conditions have deteriorated or because of another circumstance beyond our control which makes it impossible or unsafe to continue.

If a performance is cancelled after it has started, tickets may be transferred to another performance in the current season, subject to availability. Refunds are not available once a performance has started.

Pausing the Show and Then Restarting

Sometimes we will pause a performance if weather conditions become too severe, or if another temporary problem makes it necessary to stop. We may then restart the performance once conditions improve and it is possible and safe to continue.

Transferring to an Indoor Venue

Sometimes, if adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds or extreme heat are forecast, we will move the performance to a local indoor venue.

Normally, the decision to transfer will be made on the day of the performance and usually by 4pm, although circumstances may sometimes mean that a decision has to be made later. Ticket holders will be contacted by email as soon as possible.

Normally, the performance will take place on the same date and at the same time as the original outdoor performance.

If a performance is transferred to an indoor venue but takes place on the same date and at the same time, refunds are not available. However, ticket holders may transfer their tickets to another performance in the current season, subject to availability.

Rescheduling a Performance

Sometimes we may need to reschedule a performance to a different date or time. The rescheduled performance may take place at the original venue or at a different venue.

Normally, the decision to reschedule will be made on the day of the original performance and usually by 4pm, although circumstances may sometimes mean that a decision has to be made later. Ticket holders will be contacted by email as soon as possible.

If we change the date or time of a performance, ticket holders will be entitled to attend the rescheduled performance, transfer their tickets to another available performance, or receive a refund.
